🐺Bear Squared: How we can't seem to land a positive weekend this bull run...

Lots of new developments this week as the new administration settles into its power. Strong announcements for crypto hopefuls could lead to massive gains. Trump teased at no capital gains on crypto.

IRS agents are at risk of losing their job and being rehired by border patrol. Trump is in MAX value add mode to the citizens of the U.S. instead of the mass value extraction mode we have consistently seen other administration use.

Previously the IRS was getting buffed, now, the ERS (External Revenue Service) is being formed and calculations are being run on just how much value the U.S. can safely extract from other countries as a means of behavioral modification. As always, finding other ways to earn a living on the side (new skills) is of paramount importance until we solidly establish where are at after this norming phase of sorts.

Altcoins are still struggling to find their legs after the first weekend that the tariffs dropped, for now the crypto market is still tied to the success of traditional finance. Once there is a true decoupling, things can move forward for the space.

Something I would be watching specifically, what the hackers do with the $ETH from Bybit (how come there wasn’t a massive crash in $ETH after the massive hack? is that still to come this week?). Furthermore, I would look at the fact that Blackrock and Fidelity have used the last 7 months to acquire 1.4% of the circulating supply of Ether. Similarly to the BTC ETF (IBIT, HODL, etc), once their bags are packed, we will be allowed to start seeing some positive moves.

Don’t wait for them to signal the all-clear. Be aggressive, believe in the coming altcoin season (if we get one at all this year). Accumulate at what you believe are undervalued prices and be ready.
